Cities: Skylines has sold over 3.5 million copies

It seems Cities: Skylines has done rather well for Colossal Order, and for publisher Paradox, shifting over 3.5 million copies to date. It's also the second anniversary of the enormo-city builder's release, so in celebration the developer is putting out some free DLC, which will be "available soon". We can finally recreate the alternate universe from Fringe! Oh, but only if the next expansion contains that weird amber stuff that was being used to close dimensional breaches. Here, have a read of

Here are two of the monsters you’ll be roughing up in action RPG Dauntless

There's not a hint of daunt on display in the latest trailer for co-op action RPG Dauntless, and yes, 'co-op action RPG' is a fancy way of saying 'Monster Hunter-style game'. The major difference between this and yer actual Monster Hunter is that, hooray, it'll be on PC (and no, the Monster Hunter MMO didn't count). There's an open beta for Phoenix Labs' free-to-play action RPG coming late this year, and you can sign up in readiness over on the official site. Unusually, the system requirements h

Mordhau is a medieval multiplayer brawler with 64-player sieges

Mordhau bills itself as a "multiplayer medieval melee game featuring large open battles, siege engines, and mounted combat". We want fights to looks like fights without the endless spinning and back twisting that are common in some games of this genre." It's early days yet, but if Mordhau can build upon what's already there, and deliver on what it's now promising, it could be onto something special. And with For Honor out now, and Kingdom Come Deliverance and Mount & Blade 2: Bannerlord due this

Quake Champions demos debut Blood Covenant arena

In what's been a busy week for id's incoming arena shooter, Quake Champions has teased its first arena—named Blood Covenant. As you'll see in the trailer below, Blood Covenant looks a bit like a souped up version of Quake 3's DM6 Arena—with its gothic masonry, incongruous metal plating, towering stone pillars, and weird blood bath/sacrificial altar-type central effect. "Warriors from all over the waking world have been trapped in the Dreamlands, where they must battle it out for eternity in Quak

How to immediately find one of Ghost Recon: Wildlands’ best sniper rifles

In Ghost Recon: Wildlands’ massive map, one of the greatest tactical joys comes from hands-off infiltration in the form of sniping enemy soldiers from far away. You can get one of the better sniper rifles, the MSR, the moment you start. Most vehicles in Wildlands don’t have trouble driving up steep inclines and over boulders that would turn a genuine all terrain vehicle into scraps. Open it to find the MSR sniper rifle. Fast travel out of there and take it for a spin on those early missions.
