A letter from the Pathfinder to the director of the Andromeda Initiative

I’m pretty sure Drack can’t even fit into the stall, so I’m not sure what he’s been doing. I know, I know, I’m nitpicking, and it’s not like you designed the ship. But the little things add up out here, and there are certain… discrepancies. We just spent six weeks scanning planets and found some iron, so that’ll really help the colonization effort. It’s the little things you do that make a big difference.

"If you do all of the stuff that's in every other game, you're just going to be a bad clone." So I think that layer of depth is really, really needed. But I also think also, the fact that we really are really a shooter game for [shooter fans]. Do you think every new shooter has to tr

Mass Effect: Andromeda’s ‘recommended’ system predicted to run 30 fps at 1080p (Updated)

Update (March 10): We've received a little clarification on the question of exactly how well Mass Effect: Andromeda will perform on a 3GB GTX 1060. At PAX East today, we asked producer Michael Gamble if the card would really deliver 30 fps at best on high. The recommended, at least on my machine at home, I have a 1060, I run at higher than 30 [fps] for the majority of the game. We have a GTX 1060 in the office, so as soon as we can we'll test Andromeda with it and report back on how it performs.

This week’s highs and lows in PC gaming

It might not happen anytime soon, nor ever, but I'd really, really, really love to see this idea taken further. We are steadily approaching the point where there will be more Mass Effect: Andromeda trailers than there are stars in the actual Andromeda galaxy. breaking: new mass effect andromeda trailer just goes ahead and shows 100% of the g

Deus Ex: A Criminal Past DLC review

A new mission for Deus Ex: Mankind Divided set in a prison. The Penthouse is a maximum security prison balanced on top of a mesa somewhere in the Arizona desert. The story and characters are the weakest link in A Criminal Past—it’s the level design that makes it worth playing. Deus Ex is, when it’s at its best, a game about choices, and A Criminal Past offers plenty of that in its 6-7 hours. While previous DLC System Rift felt like a retread of Mankind Divided, this mission is much more distinct
