Allods Online is a free to play graphical fantasy based MMORPG game published by Gala-Net
Allods Online is a 3D MMORPG fantasy game with a lot of emphasis placed on the storyline. Although many experienced players may say that it closely resembles World of Warcraft, it still has enough distinctive features of its own to make it unique. When a distant planet called Sarnout was destroyed it created a sea of floating islands in space and players will fight for the Empire or the League depending on which fraction you choose.
After choosing sides you'll need to select a race and there are three available for each fraction. The races available for the League fraction include the Elves, Gibberlings and Kanians and the Empire fraction includes Orcs, Xadaganians and Arisen. The Kanians and the Arisen are very similar to humans.
There are eight playable classes that include a Warrior, Mage, Scout, Paladin, Psionicist, Summoner, Healer and Warden. Each race has certain classes they can select and the one you choose will determine your archetype. After creating your character you'll find yourself in the starting area with a unique and amazing tutorial. Simply put, you will begin the game where it all began.
If you choose the Empire fraction, then you'll start in a ship right in the midst of the battle that destroyed the city of the League. If you choose the League fraction, you'll be in the city as it's being attacked. Once the tutorial ends, you may be a little stunned by the high quality graphics with lots of color that separates Allods Online from the other MMORPG games within the same genre. You'll surely enjoy the green forest and tall wonderfully crafted buildings scattered throughout the game but this is just the beginning.
This MMORPG stays fresh and interesting until the very end. Every time you gain a new piece of gear, the way your character looks will change. Allods Online has many quests to take part in so you don't have to grind in order to level-up, unless you just want to. As you move up in levels they'll be even more adventures to enjoy as you explore the dead seas, tropical islands, pyramids and take part in astral battles while seeking out the “big bosses” scattered across the zones.
If you're killed in the game then you'll be sent to the nearest resurrection area where you'll wait until you're resurrected. Allods Online does have many of the same great qualities that can be found in the ever-so-popular WoW but that's just a bonus feature. This plus the fact that it's a free-to-play game makes it an excellent selection for any gamer looking for fun and adventure in an online MMORPG game.
