Lyon, France – 12 July 2012 – At the end of June, the curtain came down on another highly successful Game Connection Asia event at the Pudong Expo in Shanghai, China. Over 150 companies and 46 exhibitors from 20 countries attended the event to squeeze the most out of two full days packed with business meetings, conferences and master classes.
Once again, companies and professionals were able to profit from the most efficient games industry business event to expand their networks and knowledge. The program of master classes proved a particularly big hit with delegates.
During the event, the nominees for Selected Projects 2012 felt the pressure as they presented their games to the international jury comprised of experts from Konami, Microsoft and Sony Computer Entertainment Europe. In the end, the coveted Selected Projects 2012 top prize was awarded to French development team Upper Byte for their game Wooden Sen'SeY.
“Being nominated as Selected Project was the beginning of THE great adventure! Nice & useful meetings, good exotic atmosphere and a lot of professional opportunities. Game Connection Asia 2012 was definitely a good one!” - Cédric Cadiergues and Camille Masson, cofounders at Upper Byte
